Kate Middleton, Prince William, Harry named as 2012 Olympics Ambassadors

Kate will share the title with her husband, Prince William, and her brother in law, Prince Harry.  "London hosting the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games will inspire so many people particularly the young to be the best they can be," Prince William said.

A spokesperson for the British Olympic Association says,"It is a great motivation for Team GB that the Duke and Duchess and Prince Harry are supporting their efforts next year". Having the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge cheering them on should certainly give them an extra incentive! The Paralympics Association is thrilled to have the support of the young Royals as well,"We’re sure that the presence of their Royal Highnesses will help us achieve this goal, and it will give the athletes a tremendous lift to know that they are going to be supporting them."
