Olympic Flame has arriwed in Cornwall



A great celebration was heald at the aerport today. David Beckham lit a cauldron to celebrate the flame's arrival in Cornwall. With emotional moments  up and down the country, schools, groups and communities were celebrated the torch, and the variety of activities were involved.

The Olympic Flame arrived in the UK on 18 May 2012, to start its 70 day journey meandering across the country before arriving at its final destination - the Olympic Stadium on 28th July.
8,000 specially selected torchbearers will carry the Flame in relay through more than 1,000 urban areas in the UK, following a route that comes within 10 miles of 95% of the population. An interactive map that shows the full route can be found at the official website. To find out when the Flame will be near you simply enter your postcode in the search box on the website. The journey starts on Saturday 19 May in Land's End.
